Berlin-based composer-producer Elie Gregory has been passionately producing punchy electro-synthpop under the name Strip Down and bringing it to clubs Europe-wide since 2012. Having taken a break while their voice was in transition, Strip Down is currently on the scholarship program of Musicboard Berlin and will be releasing their debut album coming out this year. The album titled “Remakings” has been a long time in the making; some songs having begun their life as early as in 2013. Intricately produced and deeply reflective, recordings of both the artist’s past and present voices are combined to form a duet, resulting in a concept album of pumping, synth-driven tracks with vocals that reflect the artist’s personal journey of evolution.
