Shaheen Wacker is a photographer, author and blogger, who started BERLININDUSTRY – a black femme politics & culture blog. She is the co-organizer of Black Lives Matter Berlin and continues working with methods of self-empowerment and self-determination in her daily work, while trying to survive late capitalism. To decolonize forms of expression and transform normative aesthetics is essential in her approach. She creates, organizes and reflects – in the context of music, activism and theatre, from a Black queer feminist perspective.
