Isil Kilkis started her career working at independent radio station Dinamo FM in istanbul in 2004 and also worked as a core member for the legendary but short-lived Radar Live Festival for 2 years. This path led the way to Pozitif, one of the prominent promoter companies in Istanbul in 2010 where she started as a publicist, then became Babylon Club’s marketing manager, then transited to the booking & programming department of Pozitif, where she curated Babylon’s year-long program, Akbank Jazz Festival, Cappadox Festival, One Love Festival and many more. In the mean time, she kept on working on radio, doing weekly shows at Radyo Babylon, then Radio Adidas, and also started DJing in various venues in Istanbul like Kiki, Minimuzikhol, Munferit, Arkaoda, Babylon, Bina, and also somehow managed to play at Glastonbury festival’s Hell stage under her DJ moniker of Shangri La. in 2018, she has parted ways with Pozitif, and decided to fly solo, working for different projects like Red Bull Music Festival in Istanbul, and also booking both international & local acts through Deluks Agency based in Istanbul.
