Christine Kakaire

Christine Kakaire will give an interactive presentation in her talk Decoding the Language of Music Writing on Saturday 3 November in Böhmischer Kirchensaal.

Christine Kakaire is an Australian-born, Berlin-based music journalist, editor and speaker. She has worked in music her entire adult life, and it’s taken her from Creative Vibes in Sydney, to BM Soho and Juno Download in London, to Beatport and zero” in Berlin. She began writing for Australian street press magazines in the early 2000s, and currently works full-time as a freelance music journalist and content/curation specialist. Her words, work and voice can be found on Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, Red Bull Music Academy, Boiler Room, Ableton, Google Play, Berlin Community Radio and Electronic Beats.
